I am…
a nail biter, and don’t care any more.
half Korean.
half white.
from Hawaii, but I wasn’t born there.
from LA, but I didn’t grow up there.
apparently of average build and average height because there is never anything in my size in the clearance section.
a Trojan. “Bruins for four years, Trojans for life!”
I hate…
about me pages.
greed.
dishonesty.
insincerity.
discrimination.
stupidity.
inflexibility of thought.
lack of thought.
war and violence.
lies.
My favorite…
place to be is snuggled up in bed with my hubby and kitties.
food is anything savory.
color is purple.
author is Amy Tan.
obsession is all things Harry Potter.
sport is baseball. Dodger baseball.
people are with me always in my heart.
I love…
my hair short and curly but I want it long and straight.
movies and I am a total snob, I won’t waste my time on just anything.
looking through a lens.
the way letters appear on a blank screen.
the absolute beautiful nature of honest human interaction.
my parents and my family.
my friends.
my husband.
love, hope, faith and kindness.
people, despite what I might say.
myself.

Thanks! What an honor.
Dear Tanaya,
What a great post on such a historic event! We appreciate your mention of the National Museum of American History, and I thought that perhaps you might be interested in helping us spread the word about a really cool event that NMAH is launching– a national Star-Spangled Banner YouTube Singing Contest!
Contestants can submit a video performance of the national anthem to the Star-Spangled Banner group on YouTube. The deadline for submissions is April 13, 2009.
It would be great if you could alert your readers to this exciting contest. Here’s a link to the Call for Entries if you’d like to help spread the word:

Thanks!
